This exceptional Pink Bourbon decaf comes from small-holder producers in the picturesque municipality of Villamaría in Colombia's Caldas Department, where Raw Material has supported growers by providing free seedlings from their El Fénix farm and educational facility, then centrally processing the cherries at La Jamaica station.The cherries undergo an innovative “water pillow” anoxic washed fermentation: submerged under a plastic sheet sealed with water to create a low-oxygen environment, which controls temperature, reduces off-flavors, and enhances sweetness — all using simple, accessible materials for maximum impact with minimal input.After processing, the coffee is gently decaffeinated at the nearby Descafecol plant using the natural sugarcane(ethyl acetate) method, derived from fermented sugarcane, keeping the entire value chain in Colombia and preserving remarkable flavor integrity.The result is a juicy, fruit-forward brew packed with vibrant notes of pomegranate and wine gums — bright, sweet, and refreshing without any caffeine, making it the perfect afternoon filter coffee.We've been eager to introduce a decaf this lively and complex, bringing the same exciting experience we love in our Feature Filter range, straight from the dedicated Villamaría community.
